Cody Corbett (2) had the lone marker for San Antonio; breaking up the shutout for former Av, Peter Budaj, who finished with 27 saves. Roman Will was pulled in favor of Reto Berra after giving up three goals on six shots in the opening period. Berra stopped 21 shots in relief.
Fort Wayne 4 - Colorado 3 - F/SO
The Komets had a 3-0 lead before Colorado began to chip away. Johnny Lazo had two goals in the game for the Eagles. Trevor Cheek notched goal number 13 in the second period. The Komets won the shoot-out 2-1 in three rounds.
London 4 - Kitchener 1
Nick Magyar was minus two for the Rangers. Aaron Berisha had a goal and an assist for the Knights in the victory.
Cape Breton 4 - Drummondville 1
The Screaming Eagles received two goals from Michael Joly. Sergei Boikov was minus one and was credited with two hits for the Voltigeurs.
Val-d'Or 2 - Chicoutimi 1
Alexis Pepin won the game for the Foreurs on a goal with 15 seconds remaining in the game. He has 22 goals on the season.
Rouyn-Noranda 7 - Sherbrooke 1
The Huskies dominated the third period with five goals. A quieter offensive game for AJ Greer, who did not record a point, but did have four shots on goal. JC Beaudin picked up the slack with two goals; now 28 on the year.
Ohio State 6 - Michigan 5 - F/OT
What a crazy afternoon contest. A surprising sweep for the Buckeyes, in which they rebounded in overtime after giving up a four goal lead to the Wolverines. JT Compher assisted on a power play goal early in the second period. Nick Schilkey had the game winner for OSU.
