Lake Erie 4 - San Antonio 3 - F/OT
Back to where it all began. For the first time, the Avs current AHL affiliate faced off against their former affiliate as the Rampage paid visit to the Lake Erie Monsters.
Andrew Agozzino (10), Reid Petryk (12), and Michael Schumacher (8) gave San Antonio a two goal lead before the Monsters climbed back to tie the game in the third. Michael Chaput, who tied the game for Lake Erie, also had the overtime winner.
Roman Will stopped 22 shots in the loss for the Rampage. Mikko Rantanen had two helpers. Agozzino was named the third star of the game.
Fort Wayne 5 - Toledo 2
Troy Bourke led the offensive attack for the Komets with two goals on the evening. Spencer Martin who was returned to Fort Wayne, served as the backup. Bourke was named the first star of the game.
Kitchener 5 - Oshawa 0
Rangers captain, Ryan MacInnis, had a hat trick for his club. Nick Magyar assisted on a goal in the second period for Kitchener and also served a minor penalty for holding.
North Bay 5 - Mississauga 1
Brett McKenzie and Matthew Santos each had a goal and an assist for the Battalion in the win. Kyle Wood had four shots in the game and assisted on a Mike Amadio goal in the third period.
Drummondville 4 - Victoriaville 1
Michael Carcone contributed with two goals and an assist for the Voltiguers. Sergei Boikov was credited with three hits and finished plus one.
Rouyn-Noranda 4 - Saint John 1
AJ Greer opened the game's scoring with his fifth marker on the season. JC Beaudin (21) notched a power play goal in the second period and assisted on Timo Meier's third period tally. Beaudin was named the third star of the game.
Gatineau 5 - Val-d'Or 2
The Olympiques received two goals each from Vitalii Abramov and Alex Dostie. Nicolas Meloche was even for the game.
Saskatoon 12 - Swift Curent 2
The Blades scored five times in the first and second periods. Four skaters had two goals a piece for Saskatoon. Gustav Olhaver was even for the Broncos.
Michigan 5 - Ferris State 2
JT Compher became the first Wolverine junior to record 100 points in his collegiate career since 2010. Compher had two assists on the evening. Kyle Connor had two goals and an assist for Michigan. Compher was named the third star of the game.
