San Jose 5 - San Antonio 0

The Rampage managed to generate 30 shots on goal, but couldn't beat Aaron Dell. Ben Smith had two goals for the Barracuda. Joey Hishon led San Antonio with six shots on goal. Roman Will made 38 saves.

ECHL

Fort Wayne 4 - Kalamazoo 3

Garrett Meurs (10) was credited with the game winner for the Komets. Trevor Cheek assisted on the goal.

OHL

Kitchener 5 - Erie 4

Adam Mascherin and David Miller each had two goals for the Rangers. Nick Magyar, who missed Friday's game for Kitchener, had one shot in the game.

Kingston 6 - North Bay 5

Unfortunately for the Battalion, captain Mike Amadio could not out score the Frontenacs. Amadio scored five times off of eight shots. Kyle Wood was minus one.

QMJHL

Cape Breton 3 - Drummondville 2

Sergei Boikov, now serving as alternate captain, was credited with three hits in the game. Massimo Carozza scored the game winning goal for the Screaming Eagles.

Val-d'Or 6 - Sherbrooke 3

Three hits and two shots on goal in the game for Alexis Pepin. Offensively, Shawn Ouelette-St-Amant, had two goals for the Foreurs.

WHL

Swift Current 4 - Medicine Hat 1

Tyler Steenbergen had two of the four goals for the Broncos. Gustav Olhaver was even for the game.

NCAA

Big Ten

Michigan 4 - Wisconsin 4 - F/OT

Tyler Motte opened the scoring late in the first period for the Wolverines with a short-handed marker. After assisting on the Motte tally, JT Compher (11) would get on the board for Michigan 15 seconds into the third period. The Badgers scored the tying goal with 27 seconds left in regulation. Michigan wins the extra conference point 1-0 in the shoot-out in three rounds.

NCHC

Denver 4 - North Dakota 1

Not only did the Pioneers hand UND their first losing streak of the season, but the club helped itself by climbing to eighth in the all important PairWise rankings after completing the two game sweep. Will Butcher fed Trevor Moore (6) on a nifty pass for a breakaway goal to give Denver a two goal lead in the third period.
