San Antonio 3 - Charlotte 2

Another multiple point game for Avs 2015 first round pick Mikko Rantanen, who notched his 17th goal of the season in the contest. In addition to the goal, Rantanen also assisted on a power play marker in the opening period. Joey Hishon (11) and Marc-Andre Cliche (6) also scored for the Rampage.

Roman Will stopped 21 shots to earn the win. Rantanen was named the first star of the game. San Antonio has won back-to-back games. Former Avs farm hand, TJ Hensick, had an assist in the game for the Checkers.

Note: Mason Geertsen was recalled from Fort Wayne, due to the injury of Duncan Siemens, but did not suit up in this contest.

QMJHL

Gatineau 6 - Halifax 0

Alex Dostie and Chiwetin Blacksmith each had two goals for the Olympiques. Nicolas Meloche assisted on the first and last goals scored in the game. He was called for a minor roughing infraction in the third period.

Rimouski 5 - Drummondville 2

Michael Carcone notched both goals for the Voltigeurs in the loss. Sergei Boikov was credited with two hits and two shots on goal in the game.
