The Huskies struck four times in the second period. JC Beaudin scored his first goal of the season. The power play marker, scored early in the second period, turned out to be the game winner. Beaudin also assisted on another goal later in the same period. Nicolas Meloche was minus two for the Olympiques.


Ottawa 6 - Sarnia 3

After assisting on a first period goal, Travis Barron scored his first of the season in the second frame on the power play.


Prince George 3 - Kelowna 0

Josh Anderson was called for a tripping minor late in the second period. Jared Bethune, Aaron Boyd, and Max Martin had the goals for the Cougars.


Denver 4 - Mount Royal 1 - Exhibition

The Pioneers were 2 for 4 on the power play in their lone exhibition game. Will Butcher racked up two assists in the game for Denver.

North Dakota 5 - Manitoba 1 - Exhibition

Tyson Jost centered the top line for UND and assisted on two goals in the game. Prior to the game, North Dakota raised their eighth championship banner.
