Friday Scoreboard - 09/30/2016

And so it begins...

Prospects in Europe have been in action the past few weeks, and as in recent years, these scoreboards will focus on prospects playing in North America. I'll do my best to post occasional tidbits on prospects playing overseas.

Nate Clurman was expected to play in the USHL this year for Tri-City, but opted to remain at the Culver Military Academy this upcoming season. They will begin play on October 28th.

Rouyn-Noranda 5 - Sherbrooke 2

JC Beaudin notched an assist on a power play goal for the Huskies in the second period. He had an active third period in which he was involved in a fight. Martins Dzierkals scored twice in the win.

Gatineau 2 - Blainville-Boisbriand 1 - F/OT

The Armada held a 46-22 shot advantage. Nicolas Meloche had three shots. Gatineau stole the extra point winning the shoot-out 2-0.

Sarnia 7 - Ottawa 4

Sarnia broke out with four goals in the final period. For his effort, Travis Barron snagged an assist on the final goal scored in the game by the 67's late in the second period.

Prince George 4 - Kelowna 1

Josh Anderson suited up for his first game with the Cougars since being reassigned by the Avalanche. During the contest, he skated as one of the alternate captains for Prince George. Brad Morrison had two goals for the Cougars in the victory.
