San Diego 4 - San Antonio 3

A great start for San Antonio was fizzled out by misques; resulting in the club giving up a three goal lead. Borna Rendulic (7), Michael Schumacher (5), and Chris Bigras (4) scored for the Rampage. Spencer Martin took the loss, surrendering all four goals on 32 shots. Bigras was named the third star of the game.


Guelph 7 - Kitchener 3

James McEwan led the way for the Storm with a hat trick. Nick Magyar (5) scored for the Rangers in the second period. He had a team high seven shots on goal.

North Bay 5 - Barrie 3

Kyle Wood (5) scored a power play goal in the second period, tying the game at two. He also assisted on a third period power play marker. Matthew Santos notched two goals for North Bay.


Gatineau 7 - Sherbrooke 2

The Olympiques started off strong with five first period goals. Vitali Abramov and Chiwetin Blacksmith each had two goals for Gatineau. Nicolas Meloche was credited with three hits and had an assist in the game for the Olympiques.

Val'd-Or 4 - Rouyn-Noranda 2

The Foreurs scored three times in the second period, including a short-handed tally. Alexis Pepin had five hits and two shots in the game. For the Huskies, Julien Nantel struggled in the face-off dot and finished minus one. AJ Greer was called for three minor infractions in the contest.


Kootenay 3 - Swift Current 1

Two goals for the Ice came off the stick of Jesse Zaharichuk. Gustav Olhaver was minus two for the Broncos.



USA U-18 7 - St. Cloud State 6 - F/OT

A nice friendly exhibition game turned into a barn burner. Ben Storm had an assist for the Huskies. Blake Winiecki had four goals for SCSU.
