San Diego 3 - San Antonio 1

Former Avs farmhand Mike Sgarbossa (7) opened the scoring for the Gulls. After falling behind 2-0, the lone Rampage marker came off the stick of Reid Petryk (5) in the second period. Spencer Martin made 32 saves for San Antonio. The Rampage are winless in their last three.


Fort Wayne 2 - Indy 1

Komets goals came from Mike Embach and Domenic Alberga. Garrett Meurs assisted on one of the markers. He had a team high seven shots in the game.


Kitchener 3 - Guelph 2

Matthew Hotchkiss had both goals for the Storm. Nick Magyar had one shot in the game for the Rangers. Adam Mascherin scored once and added two assists for Kitchener. He was named the first star of the game.


Regina 4 - Swift Current 3 - F/OT

Adam Brooks scored the game winner for the Pats. He also had two assists. Gustav Olhaver was even for the Broncos.



Notre Dame 1 - Denver 1 - F/OT

The Pioneers could not have played a better game and if not for the efforts of Fighting Irish goaltender Cal Petersen, the game would have ended in a rout. Petersen earned his first star of the game honors with 49 saves. Will Butcher had five shots in the game. Notre Dame won the shoot-out 1-0.
