Kyle Wood's season debut is on hold due to a hand injury; in which he is receiving treatment in Colorado.

Owen Sound 5 - Kitchener 4 - F/OT

Kitchener opened the game strongly with three first period goals, but Owen Sound chipped away and won the contest with less than a minute remaining in the overtime session. Nick Magyar assisted on one of the opening period goals for the Rangers.


Gatineau 7 - Baie-Comeau 1

It was a dominating performance for the Olympiques, oushooting the Drakkar 55-27. Yan Pavel Laplante had a hat trick for Gatineau. Nicolas Meloche played in his first game with Baie-Comeau since returning from Avalanche training camp. The alternate captain spent some time in the sin bin with four minor penalties in the game.

Rimouski 5 - Val-d'Or 4 - F/SO

Alexis Pepin notched his first two goals of the season; earning second star of the game honors. It was however the Oceanic who came out on top in a 17-round shoot-out 3-2.

Rouyn-Noranda 3 - Victoriaville 1

The game was scoreless until the 16:59 mark of the second frame, when Philippe Myers scored his second goal of the season. JC Beaudin earned the secondary assist on the tally. Beaudin would add another assist on a short-handed goal in the third period for the Huskies; helping to put the game away. Julien Nantel had the primary on the game winner; scored just 2:13 prior to the third Rouyn-Noranda goal.

Drummondville 7 - Chicoutimi 2

The Voltigeurs five first period goals were too much to overcome for the Sagueneens. Defenseman Sergei Boikov was credited with 10 hits in the game; adding an power play assist in the third period.


Vancouver 3 - Seattle 2

The Giants won the game taking advantage of a late third period power play opportunity. Big man Gustav Ohlaver was minus two in his WHL debut for Seattle.
