The Monarchs Danick Paquette scored twice for his club in the victory. Spencer Martin was pulled after the second period after allowing four goals on 21 shots. Garrett Meurs (3) notched a goal in the third period.


North Bay 2 - Niagara 1 - F/OT

Zach Poirier had both goals for the Battalion. Kyle Wood assisted on both markers. He also had eight shots in the game.

Sault Ste. Marie 8 - Kitchener 5

The Greyhounds struck five times in the third period. Zachary Senyshyn had a hat trick for SSM. Nick Magyar was held without a shot on goal for the Rangers. He was plus one for the game.


Rouyn-Noranda 5 - Val-d'Or 3

JC Beaudin assisted on a third period power play goal. Julien Nantel had a power play goal in the second period for the Huskies. Alexis Pepin had a power play goal for the Foreurs in the third frame. He has 14 goals on the season.


Red Deer 5 - Kootenay 4

Conner Bleackley was penalized for hooking early in the second period. His goal in the second period gave the Rebels a brief one goal lead. He was named the first star of the game.

Tri-City 3 - Seattle 2 - F/OT

The Americans ended the game 42 seconds into the overtime session. Gustav Olhaver was even for the Thunderbirds.
