News broke this morning that Avs 2015 second round pick, AJ Greer, was leaving Boston University and heading the QMJHL to suit up with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. Even the Huskies website is reporting that the power forward will be joining the team.
Yet, later in the day, reports were telling a different story. The BU Hockey Blog has put together a nice timeline of today's events. Players leaving college hockey for the CHL is not an unknown occurence. The Terriers faced such rumors last season with prized forward, and now Buffalo Sabres rookie, Jack Eichel. Needless to say, this is very much a fluid story and we'll likely know more in the coming days.
