Rouyn-Noranda 5 - Gatineau 2

JC Beaudin sealed the win for the Huskies with an empty net marker. Julien Nantel was credited with two hits and three shots in the game.

Val-d'Or 5 - Shawinigan 4 - F/OT

The Cataractes made things interesting with three goals in the third period. Alexis Pepin notched his 12th goal of the season in the second period for the Foreurs. He was named the second star of the game.

WHL

Everett 4 - Seattle 1

The Silvertips notched three goals in the final frame. Two goals for Everett came off the stick of Patrick Bajkov. Gustav Olhaver was even for the Thunderbirds.

Boston University 4 - Quinnipiac 1

The Terriers handed the Bobcats their first loss of the season. AJ Greer recorded three shots on goal and finished plus one. Matt Lane had two goals for BU.

Minnesota 3 - Michigan 2

Kyle Connor had both goals for the Wolverines. JT Compher assisted on one of those markers. Michigan falls to 9-3-3 on the season.

St. Cloud State 6 - Denver 2

The Pioneers have dropped four games in a row entering into their winter break. Kalle Kossila recorded a hat trick for the Huskies. Ben Storm had one shot in the game for SCSU. Gabe Levin and Grant Arnold had the goals for the Pioneers. Will Butcher had one assist. Denver will return to action on New Year's Day against Notre Dame.
