Saturday Scoreboard - 10/03/2015

Nick Magyar left Kitchener's 4-2 win on Friday due to an injury. Still waiting to hear more information on the severity of the injury; which appears to be to his right ankle. Magyar took to Twitter to express his feelings:

Rouyn-Noranda 8 - Chicoutimi 4

The teams scored a combined seven goals in the second period. Julien Nantel scored twice and added an assist. JC Beaudin now has five goals on the season after recording a hat trick in the contest.

Red Deer 7 - Kelowna 4

Conner Bleackley was plus one for the Rebels. Shots in the game were 38 a piece. Each club had a power play goal.

Seattle 4 - Prince George 1

Gustav Olhaver was plus one and was penalized for roughing in the second period. The Thunderbirds scored twice on the power play.

SCSU 6 - Alberta 2

St Cloud State hosted Alberta in a preseason contest on Saturday evening. The Huskies won 6-2, but the important note is a change in circumstance for Ben Storm. Storm who is a defenseman, played some wing for SCSU last year. The coaching staff has moved Storm to center. At least for this exhibition game, the change resulted in a goal.

Boston University 4 - Acadia 2

AJ Greer (LW on the second line) assisted on the game winning goal in the third period to help the Terriers earn the exhibition win.
