San Antonio 5 - Stockton 1
The home opener for the San Antonio Rampage couldn't have gone much better. The biggest news prior to the game was the addition of Avs 2015 first round pick Mikko Rantanen and he didn't take long to make an impact.
The winger scored his first professional goal to open the scoring at home for the Rampage. Samuel Henley (1), Colin Smith (1), Chris Bigras (1), and Marc-Andre Cliche (1) also scored for San Antonio. Calvin Pickard stopped 25 shots.
Rantanen had five shots in the contest, to go along with his goal, and was named the first star of the game.
