Avs Prospects to Play in 2014 Memorial Cup

With the Val-d'Or Foreurs Game 7 victory over the Baie-Comeau Drakkar on Tuesday night, the four team field for the upcoming Memorial Cup is set. Joining the QMJHL Champions are host and OHL club London Knights, OHL Champion Guelph Storm, and the champions of the WHL the Edmonton Oil Kings.

Two undrafted free agents, recently signed by the Avs, will be participating in the upcoming tournament. Cody Corbett, a defenseman for the Oil Kings, has had six goals and seven assists in 21 playoff games for Edmonton.

While Anthony Mantha has been the story for the Foreurs, Samuel Henley has been a solid veteran contributor for Val-d'Or with eight goals and 20 assists in 24 postseason games. Henley had a goal in the series clinching game against Baie-Comeau.
