Dawson Carty, who started the game for the Steelheads, was pulled in favor of Martin after he gave up two goals on four shots in the first 1:34 of the game.
Jacob Graves was credited with the overtime winner. The clubs combined to go 0-8 on the power play.
Kingston hammers Peterborough 11-4. Samuel Schutt and Darcy Greenaway each registered a hat trick in the game for the Frontenacs. Michael Clarke had a roughing penalty in the third period, but otherwise had a quiet game finishing minus one.
