Lake Erie edges Hamilton 3-2. The Bulldogs had a 25-21 shot advantage. Jamie MacQueen (3) and red hot Tomas Vincour (17) gave the Monsters a 2-0 lead after the opening period. Paul Carey (18) gave the Monsters a 3-0 lead with a power play marker in the second frame.
The Bulldogs scored two late goals in the third period, but the Monsters were able to hold them off for the tying goal. Calvin Pickard made 23 saves to earn the victory. Carey, Vincour, and MacQueen took the three star of the game honors.

Yale blanks Quinnipiac 4-0; wins first men's hockey title in school history. After a scoreless first period, Clinton Bourbonais opened the scoring with less than four seconds remaining in the second frame. Gus Young had the lone assist on the tally. In the third frame, the Bulldogs opened up the game with goals from Charles Orzetti, Andrew Miller, and tournament hero Jesse Root. Young finishes his junior campaign with two goals and seven assists in 37 games.
