Frozen Four Semifinal

Yale trips up UMass-Lowell in overtime 3-2. The Bulldogs had a 47-18 shot advantage in the contest. Gus Young had three shots on goal for Yale. Mitch Witek opened the scoring past the midway point of the first period on the power play. A goal with less than a minute remaining in the frame would give Yale a 2-0 lead. The River Hawks would storm back in the second period to tie up the game. After a scoreless third period, Andrew Miller was the overtime hero for the Bulldogs with his 17th goal of the season.
