CHL

Tulsa doubles up Denver 4-2. Ryan Menei had three assists in the game for the Oilers. Kieran Millan stopped 20 shots in the loss. The clubs combined for three power play goals in the contest.

OHL

Plymouth hammers Erie 7-2. Vincent Trocheck led the way offensively for the Whalers with two goals and two assists. Garrett Meurs notched his 27th goal of the season late in the first period. Mitchell Heard had the primary assist on Meurs tally and added a goal of his own in the second frame. Heard has nine goals on the season.

Sudbury skates past Peterborough 6-3. Nelson Armstrong had two goals for the losing Petes. Michael Clarke had a quiet game on the offensive end for Peterborough. He received a roughing minor and a 10-minute misconduct penalty towards the end of regulation.

QMJHL

Drummondville trips up Quebec 2-1 in overtime. The clubs combined to go 0-4 with the man advantage. Dillon Donnelly remained out of the penalty box and off the score sheet for the Remparts. Matthew Boudens had the winning tally for the Voltigeurs 55 seconds into the overtime session.

WHL

Saskatoon upends Brandon 4-1. Shane McColgan and Josh Nicholls each had a goal and an assist for the Blades. Duncan Siemens, with another solid defensive effort, was plus three for the game. He was called for a delay of game minor in the second period. Saskatoon extends their winning streak to 18 games.

Kamloops tops Prince George 4-1. Colin Smith opened the game's scoring with his 39th tally of the season just 41 seconds into the contest. Near the midway point of the second frame, Smith assisted on a short-handed goal for the Blazers. He added his 40th of the year late in the second. Smith was named the first star of the game.

NCAA

CCHA

Michigan gets the best of Ferris State 4-1. Alex Guptill assisted on two goals for the Wolverines. Luke Moffatt scored his sixth goal of the season in the second period for Michigan. The victory improves the Wolverines to 10-15-2 within the conference.

ECAC

Yale edges Colgate in overtime 4-3. Each team scored once on the power play. Gus Young recorded a hooking penalty for the Bulldogs late in the second frame. He finished with five shots on goal in the contest. Josh Balch had the winning tally for Yale with just three seconds left in overtime.

WCHA

Denver blanks Minnesota 2-0. The Pioneers have won nine of the last 10 from the Gophers. Nate Condon was on the ice for both Denver goals and was held to a single shot in the game. Juho Olkinuora had 33 saves for the Pioneers.
