Lake Erie falls to Toronto 2-1. Geoff Walker had the lone tally for the Monsters. Lake Erie has now dropped three straight games. Former Denver Pioneer Joe Colbourne, potted the game winning tally for the Marlies in the third period. Calvin Pickard stopped 22 shots in the loss. The two teams will face each other again on Sunday afternoon in Cleveland.

Missouri skates past Denver 6-4. The Cutthroats drop to 9-14-4 on the road. Luke Fulghum scored twice for Denver in the third period and Kent Patterson made 28 saves. Missouri scored three times in the final period to hold off Denver.


Plymouth hammers Sault Ste Marie 8-0. Mitch Heard recorded a hat trick with goals in each period. Garrett Meurs had two assists in the opening frame and notched his 31st goal of the season in the third period. Heard earned first star of the game honors. The Whalers have won six straight games.
