Mississauga falls to Peterborough 3-2 in a shoot-out. Brett Foy scored twice for the Steelheads in regulation. Michael Clarke had an assist on a second period goal for the Petes. In the shoot-out, the Petes had the upper hand 2-1. Clarke did not get an opportunity to participate. Peterborough has won three straight.
Saskatoon gets the best of Edmonton in a shoot-out 3-2. Duncan Siemens was credited with the secondary assist that tied the game at two for the Blades. Both Saskatoon goals were scored in the final period. Shane McColgan had the only goal in the shoot-out. Saskatoon extends their winning streak to three games.
Spokane out lasts Prince George 6-4. The Cougars produced all four of their goals in the third period. For the Chiefs, Blake Gal had three assists in the contest. Troy Bourke notched his 15th goal of the season in that wild third period for Prince George. The loss was a costly one for Prince George who trails eighth place Everett by four points for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Cougars have only three games remaining in the regular season.
