Prince George falls to Portland 6-4. The Winterhawks struck three times in the second period. Former Avs prospect, Troy Rutkowski, had a couple of goals and an assist for Portland. Troy Bourke scored his seventh goal of the season late in regulation. The Cougars are winless in their last six games.

Bowling Green skates past Michigan 5-1. Both clubs were 0-4 on the power play. Luke Moffatt had the only goal of the game for the Wolverines; his first of the season. He was penalized for slashing in the second period. Bryce Williamson scored twice for Bowling Green.
Non-Conference
Minnesota upends Notre Dame 4-1. The Gophers improve to 14-3-3. Nate Condon opened the scoring for Minnesota less than 90 seconds into the game. He has six goals on the season. He was penalized for holding late in the first frame and added an assist in the third period.
