Calvin Pickard stopped 33 shots in the game, including four in overtime. Stefan Elliott and Mark Olver scored in the shoot-out. Thomas and Pickard were named the first and second stars of the game.

The Mavericks had a 4-3 edge in the shoot-out. Kent Patterson had a strong game stopping 39 of 40 shots during regulation and overtime. He earned third star of the game honors.
Plymouth trips up Guelph in overtime 3-2. The Storm were 0-3 on the power play. Mitchell Heard notched his first goal of the season in the opening period. Garrett Meurs tied the game at two for the Whalers with a power play goal in the second period. He has 18 goals on the season. Connor Carrick had the winning tally for Plymouth in overtime.
Saginaw dumps Owen Sound 6-2. Each club scored once on the power play. Joseph Blandisi was minus three for the Attack and assisted on one of the two Owen Sound goals. Justin Kea had two goals for the Spirit.
Kelowna doubles up Prince George 8-4. Eight different players scored for the Rockets. Troy Bourke notched his sixth goal of the season for the Cougars in the final period. Each team scored twice with the man advantage.
