Plymouth skates past Guelph 6-2. The Whalers have won back-to-back games. Plymouth scored four times in the final period. Mitchell Heard, who was recently reassigned from the Lake Erie Monsters, assisted on two of those goals. Garrett Meurs was called for a slashing minor in the third period. He was minus one on the evening. Danny Vanderwiel had a hat trick for the Whalers. 

Kitchener upends Owen Sound 3-1. The Attack were 0-4 with the man advantage. Joseph Blandisi was minus one for Owen Sound and received a minor penalty for slashing in the opening frame. The Attack are 6-4 in their last 10 games.

WHL

Kamloops doubles up Vancouver 4-2. The Blazers broke a 2-2 tie with two third period goals. Colin Smith assisted on one of those third period tallies and also had a power play assist in the first period. He was named the second star of the game. The Blazers earned their second victory in a row.
