OHL

Belleville trims Plymouth in a shoot-out 3-2. Garrett Meurs assisted on a first period goal, but was unable to convert on his shoot-out opportunity. The Bulls won the shoot-out 1-0. The clubs combined to go 0-6 on the power play. 

Windsor edges Sault Ste. Marie 3-2. The Spitfires scored twice on the power play in the opening period. One of those tallies belonged to Michael Clarke, who now has two on the season. He was also hit with a roughing penalty in the first frame.

Owen Sound upends Saginaw 5-2. The Attack scored three times in the second period. Joseph Blandisi had an assist on one of those scores. He was penalized for high-sticking in the second period. Each team had 29 shots and three power play goals were scored in the contest.

QMJHL

Rimouski nips Shawinigan 4-3 in a shoot-out. Dillon Donnelly was called for roughing early in the contest. The Oceanic had the only goal in the shoot-out. They also had a 41-27 shot advantage in the game.

Blainville-Boisbriand scores once in each period, tops Val-d'Or 3-2. Gabriel Beaupre was credited with a hit, but didn't factor in the game offensively. He spent two minutes in the box for slashing in the second period. Despite the win, the Armada finished 0-8 with the man advantage.

WHL

Prince Albert skates past Saskatoon 5-2. Duncan Siemens was called for roughing and slashing minors in the second period. It was a rough evening for the Blades who allowed four power play goals on 12 chances. 

Prince George blanks Everett 6-0. Troy Bourke had a quiet offensive game for the Courgars. His club was 1-8 on the power play and held a 33-25 shot advantage in the game. 

Kamloops comes back to beat Kelowna 3-2. All three goals for the Blazers came in the final period. Colin Smith assisted on the power play goal that won the game with 33 seconds remaining in regulation. 

Europe

KHL

CSKA doubles up Yurga 4-2. Denis Parshin was called for slashing in the third period, but it did not cost his club. He finished with three shots in the game. CSKA has won their third game in regulation out of eight contests.

Elitserien

Växjö Lakers HC shuts down Skellefteå AIK 2-0. Jonas Holos assisted on one of the Lakers goals. He also had one hit and one shot on goal in just over 21 minutes of ice time.

Brynäs IF topples Linköpings HC 3-1. Skating on the fourth line for Linköpings HC, Joachim Nermark was credited with a shot on goal for his club. Neither club was able to convert on the power play on a combined eight chances.
