Plymouth falls to Sault Ste Marie 6-5 in overtime. The game winner for the Greyhounds was scored just 22 seconds into the extra session. Garrett Meurs notched his first goal of the season in the third frame. The Whalers ended the game 0-5 on the power play.


Victorville succumbs to Val-d'Or in a shoot-out 4-3. The Tigres scored twice in the third period to tie the game. Gabriel Beaupre did not record a point for the Foreurs, but had three shots on goal and was credited with a hit. He was penalized for high-sticking late in the first period.

Drummondville scores three times in the second period; edges Shawinigan 4-3. Dillon Donnelly found himself in the penalty box for cross-checking in the opening frame. The Cataractes did not allow a power play goal to the Voltigeurs on seven chances, despite being out shot 48-21 in the game.


Saskatoon nips Prince Albert 2-1 in a shoot-out. The teams recorded 41 shots a piece. Neither club was able to score on the power play and Blades captain Duncan Siemens was on the ice for the lone regulation tally for the raiders. Saskatoon won the shoot-out 2-1.

Kamloops upends Kelowna in overtime 6-5. The Blazers scored three times on the power play. Colin Smith had a big night for Kamloops with a goal and three assists. All three helpers came on the power play. Smith also spent two minutes in the box in the first period for hooking.
