The Avalanche are expected to hold their development camp from July 10-12. All the recent draftees are likely to attend, along with other Avs CHL prospects, and some who have seen time with the Lake Erie Monsters. Unfortunately, this camp isn't open to the public and isn't likely to feature much on-ice activity.
While we may not get a good glimpse at some of the prospects until September, at least one one training camp invitee has been revealed. According to Kamloops This Week, Kamloops Blazers (WHL) forward JC Lipon is expected to attend camp this fall with the Avs. Lipon is a team mate of Avs recent draft pick Colin Smith.
