Eastern Conference Quarterfinals -- Best-of-7 -- 1-0 Brampton

Brampton doubles up Sudbury 4-2. The Wolves fall to 0-2 in the series. Once again, forward Michael Sgarbossa was held without a point. He was plus one on the afternoon. The Wolves failed to score on four power play chances, whereas the Battalion was 2-5. The series will shift to Sudbury on Tuesday.

Eastern Conference Quarterfinals -- Best-of-7 -- 2-0 Ottawa

Belleville trips up Ottawa in overtime 4-3. The Bulls cut the 67's series lead in half. Stephen Silas was plus two for the Bulls and was penalized for roughing in the second period. The teams combined to go 0-8 on the power play. Game four is set for Tuesday in Belleville.


West Regional (St. Paul, MN)

Minnesota upends North Dakota 5-2. The Gophers advance to the Frozen Four. Minnesota took contol of the game with three goals in the second period. Nate Condon, who had three shots in the game for the Gophers, helped to seal the win with his 11th goal of the season in the third period. Condon also assisted on one of the second period goals for Minnesota. Kent Patterson made 24 saves to earn his 28th win of the season. 

Northeast Regional (Worcester, MA)

Boston College shuts out defending champion Minnesota-Duluth 4-0. The Eagles will play Minnesota in the second of two semi-final games in the Frozen Four. Paul Carey had four shots on goal for BC and assisted on the opening tally in the second period. He finished plus one on the night.

The 2012 Frozen Four will be held in Tampa, FL this year on April 5-7.
