Saskatoon hammers Prince Albert 11-5. The Blades scored six times in the third period. Duncan Siemens was plus one for the game, but was one of two Saskatoon players who did not have a point. He was penalized for charging and unsportsmanlike conduct in the first and third periods respectively.
Seattle skates past Spokane 3-1. Calvin Pickard had a strong game for the Thunderbirds stopping 41 shots. He was named the first star of the game. The Chiefs were 0-6 with the man advantage, whereas all three Thunderbirds goals came on the power play.
