Owen Sound scores three times in the first period, skates past Windsor 5-2. Joseph Blandisi broke out a bit offensively for the Attack with two first period goals (4, 5) and a second period helper. On the flip side, Michael Clarke had a quiet offensive game for the Spitfires. He was called for a tripping minor in the first period. Blandisi earned first star of the game honors. Windsor found themselves 0-3 on the power play. Owen Sound has won seven of their last 10 games.

Kitchener trips up Plymouth 2-1. Justin Bailey had the winning tally for the Rangers at the 3:00 mark of the third period. Garrett Meurs had the primary assist on the lone Whalers goal that was scored 30 seconds into the second frame. The teams combined to go 0-10 on the power play. Kitchener has won five of six.


Kamloops trims Seattle in overtime 4-3. The Blazers continue their hot start to the season; now having won 15 of 16 games. Colin Smith has been a big contributor to Kamloops early season success and this game was no different. Smith assisted on two second period goals, including one on the power play. He was also the hero in overtime, scoring just 25 seconds into the extra session. Smith is second in league scoring with 38 points, behind team mate JC Lipon who has 39.


Minnesota blanks Canisius 1-0. Kyle Rau had the lone goal just 12 seconds into the contest. Nate Condon had two shots in the game and was penalized for tripping early in the third period. The clubs combined to go 0-4 on the power play. The Gophers improve to 4-1-0 with the victory.
