Owen Sound doubles up Plymouth 4-2. Owen Sound scored twice on nine shots in the second period, despite being out shot 21-9. Joseph Blandisi had one of the two second period goals for the Attack and now has three on the season. Garrett Meurs was minus one for the Whalers. Each team scored once on the power play. Owen Sound has won three games in a row.


Prince George edges Kootenay 5-4. The Cougars had an efficient evening producing all five of their goals on 17 shots. Troy Bourke assisted on a first period goal for Prince George and was called for a hooking minor in the same frame. His club has won five of seven games to start the season.

Portland blanks Saskatoon 4-0. Saskatoon has dropped three games in a row. All four goals for the Winterhawks came in the second period. Duncan Siemens was minus two in the game. The teams combined to go 0-8 on the power play.

Victoria falls to Kamloops 5-2. Colin Smith notched his fourth goal of the season in the opening period for the Blazers. The Royals were 1-6 on the power play. The Blazers continue with their strong play; have now won six of their first seven games on the season.
