Friday Scoreboard


Milwaukee doubles up Lake Erie 6-3. The Monsters have lost back-to-back games. Each club scored twice on the power play. The Admirals scored four times in the second period. During the same frame, the Monsters received goals from Patrick Rissmiller (2) and Evan Brophey (9).

Tyson Barrie (5) scored a short-handed goal early in the third period, but the Monsters were unable to capitalize on any other opportunities. Trevor Cann started again for the injured Cedrick Desjardins. He gave up four goals on 16 shots before being yanked in the second period in favor of James Reid.

Ottawa hammers Belleville 7-2. The Bulls are now winless in their last four games. Stephen Silas was minus two for the game. The 67's scored four times in the first period and three times in the third.


Shawinigan dumps Chicoutimi 6-3. Chicoutimi was held to 15 shots on goal. Dillon Donnelly assisted on a third period tally for the Cataractes. He was credited with two hits and was plus one on the night. Shawinigan has won back-to-back games.

Drummondville falls to Val-d'Or 6-4. The Foreurs were out shot 48-22. Each club scored once on the power play. Gabriel Beaupre found the back of the net twice; scoring his fourth and fifth goals of the season. He was named the first star of the game. 


Regina blanks Saskatoon 3-0. Each team was 0-3 on the power play. Duncan Siemens finished with a minus one rating. The Blades have lost seven of their last 10 games.

Portland upends Everett 3-1. The Winterhawks fired 58 shots on net. Troy Rutkowski assisted on a power goal scored in the third period. Portland is on a six game winning streak.



Michigan tops Lake Superior 4-2. Luke Moffatt recorded two shots on goal for the Wolverines, but found himself on the fourth line. He was minus one on the evening. Michigan improves to 12-8-3 with the win.


Quinnipiac trims Yale 2-1. Each team had 25 shots on goal. Gus Young had one shot on goal for the Bulldogs. He was on the third defensive pairing for his team and was even for the night. Yale falls to 7-6-1.

Hockey East

Boston University scores three times in the first period; holds off Merrimack 4-2. Kieran Millan had a strong game for the Terriers, stopping 42 shots on goal. BU scored two power play goals in the opening frame. The team improves to 11-6-1.



Metallurg Nk edges CSKA 2-1. Denis Parshin had six shots on goal, including five in the third period. Yet, he came up empty handed in his more than 23 minutes of ice time.
