Plymouth trips up Sault Ste. Marie in a shoot-out 4-3. Each team scored once on the power play. Garrett Meurs was minus one during regulation. However, he was the hero for the Whalers in the shoot-out, scoring the only goal. Plymouth has won four straight.

QMJHL

Chicoutimi doubles up Val-d'Or 4-2. The Foreurs were 0-3 on the power play and were out shot 43-21. Gabriel Beaupre had two shots on goal, but was minus two for the game. Val-d'Or has lost four games in a row.

WHL

Seattle falls to Kelowna 4-3. It was another busy night for Calvin Pickard. The netminder stopped 40 shots in the loss. The Thunderbirds were unable to convert on any of their four power play chances. Kelowna scored all four goals in the second period. Seattle has dropped back-to-back games.
