OHL

Plymouth trips up Sudbury in overtime 6-5. Five goals were scored in the third period. Garrett Meurs was minus one in the game. He had the primary assist on the game tying goal. The Whalers scored twice on the power play. Plymouth has won three games in a row.

QMJHL

Chicoutimi comes back to beat Val-d'Or 7-6. The Saguenéens scored four times in the third period. Gabriel Beaupre had two shots in the game, but was minus one on the night. Val-d'Or has dropped three straight.

Quebec edges Shawinigan in a shoot-out 4-3. The Cataractes had a 43-36 shot advantage, including three shots in the overtime session. Dillon Donnelly was minus one for the game. Quebec won the shoot-out 2-1. 

WHL

Moose Jaw nips Saskatoon 2-1. All three goals were scored in the second period. The Blades were 0-7 on the power play. Duncan Siemens found himself in the penalty box during the second period for tripping. He was minus one for the game. 

Seattle upends Kelowna in a shoot-out 2-1. The teams combined to go 0-9 on the power play during regulation. Calvin Pickard made 30 saves and stopped all three Kelowna opportunities in the shoot-out. He was named the second star of the game.

Portland tops Spokane in overtime 3-2. The Winterhawks were 0-3 on the power play. Troy Rutkowski had the primary assist on the game winning goal. Portland has won back-to-back games.

ECAC

Yale falls to Harvard 4-3. The Bulldogs were out shot 39-35. Gus Young scored an unassisted goal in the third period. It was his second goal of the season. He was named the third star of the game. Yale is two games under 0.500.

Hockey East

Boston College skates past New Hampshire 4-3. The Eagles were 1-5 on the power play. Paul Carey was held to a single shot on net and he was minus one for the game. BC improves to 15-10-1.

Maine doubles up Boston University 4-2. The Terriers scored on their lone power play opportunity in the first period. Kieran Millan took the loss for BU. He gave up three goals on 24 shots. The Terriers fall to 15-7-1 with the loss.

WCHA

Minnesota beats St. Cloud State 2-1. The Huskies were held to 13 shots on goal. Nate Condon was even for the game and did not have a shot on goal. Kent Patterson earned his 18th win of the season with just 12 saves.
