Plymouth fires 54 shots on net, hammers Windsor 5-1. The Whalers scored twice on eight power play opportunities. Garrett Meurs had a quiet offensive game and was plus one in the contest. Plymouth has won eight of their last 10 games.

WHL

Seattle comes back to beat Spokane 3-2. The Thunderbirds scored twice in the third period. Calvin Pickard stopped 31 shots and won his 17th game of the season. Despite the win, Seattle is six games under 0.500.

Portland dumps Tri-City 5-1. After falling behind 1-0 in the first period, Troy Rutkowksi tied the game with his eighth goal of the season in the second frame. He would also assist on a third period power play tally. Rutkowski was named the third star of the game.
