Joey Hishon, who has not played in a hockey game since the Memorial Cup last May, due to concussion like symptons, was released from the Owen Sound (OHL) overage list this past week. Hishon was claimed by the London Knights a couple of days later, but announced on Twitter that the folks in London shouldn't get excitied:
Owen Sound GM, Dale DeGray, further confirmed that Hishon will not be lacing the skates up for London:
"From everything I've been told, it's not going to happen," DeGray said. "I've talked to Colorado and they said he's not ready to play. He hasn't passed clearance for full practice. I've talked to Joey several times. He's not ready to play."
