Mike Chambers, from the Denver Post, spoke with rookie and former North Dakota forward, Brad Malone, from the second day of Avs rookie camp.
When asked as to whether his four years at North Dakota, in a college setting, gives him an advantage over fellow rookies, he responded:
“I think four years of college really helped,” he said. “I don’t think age is really a factor, but four years of university maybe, both physically and mentally, gives me a little bit of an edge.”

Adrian Dater also had a piece in today's Denver Post about Gabriel Landeskog's adjustment to the pros.
"I like to be on the ice. I just want to be out there as much as I can," Landeskog said Tuesday after the first day of Avalanche rookie camp at the Family Sports Center. "Especially, on the first day like this. You want to get the touch and get the feel again."
