Prospect Signing Updates

We have now past the 3:00 PM MST deadline this afternoon for certain prospects drafted out of the Canadian Hockey League and certain European leagues that needed to be signed to entry-level contracts or teams would lose their rights. For the Avalanche, they have chosen not to sign 2009 sixth round pick, Brandon Maxwell, to an entry level contract.

Also, 2004 third round pick, Denis Parshin, has re-signed with CSKA Moscow for three years; waning any chances the diminutive forward will come to North America.
