North Division Semifinals -- Best of 7 -- 2-1 Lake Erie

Lake Erie skates past Manitoba 6-3. The Monsters now hold a 3-1 lead in the series. Despite the 39-30 shot disadvantage, the Monsters never trailed in the game. John Grahame had another solid game in net for the Monsters; stopping 36 shots.

Three of the Monsters goals came on the power play; two of them on a five minute power play in the first period. Ben Walter (3) and Luke Walker (1) recorded those goals. Manitoba cut the Lake Erie lead in half in the second period before Justin Mercier (2, 3) gave the Monsters a three goal lead. Mercier tallied on the power play and short-handed.

Manitoba pulled within one, in the third, before the Monsters scored two empty net goals credited to Matt Ford (3) and Mark Olver (2).
