Hamilton skates past Lake Erie 4-1. The Monsters have dropped back-to-back games. The lone Lake Erie goal was scored in the second period by Ben Walter (21). He was named the third star of the game.
The Monsters were unable to get their power play going and finished 0-5 on the night. John Grahame was the goaltender of record and gave up three goals on 16 shots. The loss drops the Monsters to third place in the North Division. Yet, Lake Erie does have a seven point lead over fourth place Toronto. The Monsters will need at least two wins or four points in their five remaining games in order to secure a playoff spot.

Mississippi upends Tulsa 3-1; takes 2-0 series lead. The RiverKings were 0-9 on the power play. Trevor Cann started his first game of the series and stopped 23 shots in the loss. Tulsa will attempt to stave off elimination on Sunday.
