Tuesday Scoreboard


Baie-Comeau edges Shawinigan 3-2. The clubs combined to go 0-3 on the power play. Dillon Donnelly was credited with two hits in the game and fired one shot on net. The Cataractes are winless in their last two games.

Val-d'Or skates past Rouyn Noranda 5-2. The Foreurs held a 25-22 shot advantage. Gabriel Beaupre opened the scoring with his third goal of the season. He was later penalized for holding in the third period. Val-d'Or finished 1-6 on the power play. The club has won back-to-back games.


Portland upends Prince George 5-3. The Winterhawks led in shots 45-38. Each club scored once on the power play. Troy Rutkowski assisted on one of three third period goals scored by Portland. The Winterhawks have won five straight.


Hockey East

Boston College tops Providence 4-1. The Eagles launched 30 shots on net. Four of those shots belonged to Paul Carey, who scored an unassisted short-handed goal in the third period.  He would also assist on a first period tally for BC and was named the second star of the game. The Eagles improve to 12-5-0 with the win.



Växjö Lakers HC falls to Skellefteå AIK 7-3. Jonas Holos was credited with an assist in the game, but was minus two on the night. He saw over 20 minutes of ice time in the game.
