Lake Erie scores three times in the third period; upends Charlotte 3-1. The Monsters trailed 1-0 until Ryan Stoa (5) tied up the game at the 2:17 mark of the third frame. Greg Mauldin (6) put the club up for good with a power play tally late in regulation. 

Tyson Barrie, who assisted on both of the earlier Monsters goals, scored the empty net goal to seal the win. He was named the first star of the game. Trevor Cann made 32 saves to earn second star of the game honors. With the victory, the Monsters improve to 11-11-1-1.
