Rochester skates past Lake Erie 4-1. All four goals for the Americans came on 17 shots; though the fourth tally was an empty net goal. Cedrick Desjardins took the loss in net for the Monsters. Hugh Jessiman had the lone marker for Lake Erie. It came past the midway point of the third period on the power play.

The Monsters enter the holiday break two games under 0.500 and losers of six of their last 10 games. Lake Erie will return to the ice next Wednesday against Grand Rapids.
