Quebec upends Val-d'Or 6-4. The Remparts controlled the game with a 41-19 shot advantage. The Remparts also scored three times on the power play. Gabriel Beaupre assisted on goals scored in the second and third periods. He was hit with a tripping penalty in the third frame and was plus one for the contest. Val-d'Or is winless in their last three games.

Shawinigan blanks Rimouski 5-0. Four of the goals scored by the Cataractes came on the power play. Dillon Donnelly was penalized for high sticking in the second period and roughing early in the third period. In the later portion of the third period, Donnelly was assessed an instigator and fighting penalties. Shawinigan has won back to back games.

WHL

Portland falls to Tri-City 3-0. The shots in the game were 29 a piece. The Winterhawks were 0-6 with the man advantage. Troy Rutkowski ended the game with a minus two rating and was penalized for slashing late in the third period. Portland is 0-2-1-0 in their last three contests.

Europe

KHL

Atlant edges CSKA in a shoot-out 3-2. Denis Parshin notched his third goal of the season in the second period. He finished with two shots in the game. He was unable to convert on his shoot-out opportunity.

Elitserien

Växjö Lakers HC trims Timrå IK 2-1. Jonos Holos was plus one and fired one shot on net. He was not credited with a hit in the game.
