Lake Erie blanks Toronto 4-0. Cedrick Desjardins made his debut for the Monsters and stopped 29 shots in the win. Evan Brophey opened the scoring in the first period with his second goal of the season. Defenseman Stefan Elliott (2) added to the lead with a power play tally at the 6:53 mark of the first frame.

Luke Walker (2) added another power play goal in the second period and Eric Hunter (2) sealed the win with an empty net goal. Ryan Stoa had perhaps his best game of the season with five shots and two assists. 

The Monsters will face rival Grand Rapids on Wednesday night.
