Plymouth scores twice in the third period to upend Ottawa 3-2. Garrett Meurs notched one of the third period goals for the Whalers. The tally was his first of the season. Meurs was caught for tripping in the second frame, but also nabbed third star of the game honors. The 67's were 0-5 on the power play.

Belleville scores in the third period to edge Oshawa 2-1. Defenseman Stephen Silas had the game winning score, which was recorded within the first five minutes of the third period. It was his first goal of the young season. Both clubs were 0-7 with the man advantage. Silas was called for tripping in the second period.


Shawinigan scores four times in the second period to hammer Acadie-Bathurst 7-2. Dillon Donnelly was not involved offensively for the Cataractes. The defenseman however was involved in a fight during the second period. Donnelly finished the game with a couple of hits and a plus one rating.

Val-d'Or notches two goals in the second and third periods to upend Gatineau 5-2. Gabriel Beaupre had two shots on goal during the game. Each club recorded one power play goal. The Foreurs improve to 0.500 with the victory.


Saskatoon improves to 3-0, doubles up Red Deer 4-2. Newly minted captain Duncan Siemens was called for slashing in the second period. He was also credited with the secondary assist on the empty net tally that sealed the game for the Blades. 

Tri-City skates past Portland 4-1. The Winterhawks held a 33-29 shot advantage in the game. Troy Rutkowski was minus three in the contest. The lone Portland tally was on a power play in the first period.



Leki is hammered 7-0 by Sport. Sami Aittokallio was in net for the loss and stopped 26 shots.
