Sunday Scoreboard


Allen dumps Tulsa 8-4. Allen has scored 18 goals in the last two games against Tulsa. Tom Fritsche was held off the score sheet and finished the game with a minus two rating. The Oilers fall a game under the 0.500 mark.


Swift Current doubles up Saskatoon 4-2. Saskatoon had the edge in shots 39-21. Stefan Elliott was minus one for the contest. The loss ends a five game winning streak for the Blades. Saskatoon still retains the best record in the league.


Shillelagh Tournament (Hoffman Estates, IL) -- Third Place Game

Notre Dame and Boston University skate to a 3-3 tie; Notre Dame wins the shoot-out 1-0. Neither club was able to score on the power play. Kieran Millan started the game for the Terriers and stopped 39 shots.  His record now stands at 5-3-6.

World Junior Championship


Canada skates by Switzerland 4-1. Canada will face the United States in the semi-finals on Monday evening. Tyson Barrie did not factor in on any of the goals for Canada. The blue-liner fired two shots on goal and was plus one for the game.
