Lake Erie rebounds from blowing a three goal lead, beats Rochester 6-4. The Monsters finished their seven game road trip 4-3. Mark Olver earned first star of the game honors scoring his 14th and 15th goals of the season. Justin Mercier (6), Harrison Reed (1), Ben Walter (13), and Patrick Rissmiller (9) also scored for the Monsters.

John Grahame stopped 20 shots in the game. He now has eight wins on the season. With the win, Lake Erie is now in fourth place in the North Division with 45 points. The Monsters return home on Tuesday evening to face the Oklahoma City Barons.

Owen Sound skates past Brampton 4-1. Joey Hishon recorded his 28th goal of the season in the third period. He assisted on a power play goal scored earlier in the game. He was hit with charging and tripping minors in the first frame. Hishon was named the second star of the contest. Owen Sound improves to 27-14-0-2.


Vancouver edges Seattle 4-3. Calvin Pickard surrendered four goals on 36 Giants shots. Seattle was 0-3 on the power play.  The Thunderbirds are now seventh in the Western Conference with a record of 18-19-4-4.


Hockey East

Maine dumps Boston College 4-1. Paul Carey skated on the third line for the Eagles and was even for the game. Boston College was 0-4 with the man advantage. BC drops their record to 15-6-0.
