Friday Scoreboard


Milwaukee shuts out Lake Erie 3-0.  The Monsters had a 10 shot advantage over the Admirals.  Ray Macias led the club with five shots on net.  The Monsters were 0-5 on the power play.  Jason Bacashihua stopped 18 shots in the loss.  The Monsters continue their road trip on Saturday in Rockford.

Tulsa scores three times in the third period to top Wichita 5-3.  Harrison Reed did not record a point on the evening and finished with three shots on net.  Tom Fritsche was held without a shot on goal and was minus one for the contest.  The Oilers are now a game under 0.500.


Kingston blanks Belleville 4-0.  The Bulls did have a 32-25 shot advantage, but were 0-6 on the power play.  Stephen Silas was penalized for roughing late in the third period and was even for the game.  Belleville falls to 11-21-0-2.

Guelph trips up Kitchener 3-2 in overtime.  Brandon Maxwell allowed three goals on 33 shots.  It's only the second time Maxwell has lost in overtime this season.  The Rangers remain in first place of the Midwest Division despite the loss.

London dumps Owen Sound 4-1.  The game featured 15 power plays.  Joey Hishon had a quiet game offensively and was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct in the second period.  


Saskatoon upends Swift Current 3-1.  Saskatoon fired 40 shots on goal to Swift Current's 28.  Stefan Elliott notched his 13th goal of the season on a power play in the first period.  The tally turned out to be the game winner.  The Blades improve to 25-8-0-1.
