Grand Rapids trips up Lake Erie 4-3 in a shoot-out. The Monsters out shot the Griffins 40-22. After scoring three power play goals in their previous game, the Monsters finished the game 0-7.
Curtis Fraser scored twice for Lake Erie and was named the third star of the game. Joel Chouinard scored the game tying goal with under four minutes remaining in regulation. Zach Cohen contributed with two assists. Jason Bacashihua stopped 18 shots in regulation and in overtime. Mark Olver and Ryan Stoa scored for Lake Erie in the shoot-out.
Kitchener comes back to beat London 5-4. Brandon Maxwell stopped 21 shots in the win. His record improves to 8-4. The Rangers sit one point behind Owen Sound for the Midwest Division lead.
Moose Jaw edges Seattle in a shoot-out 2-1. Calvin Pickard gave up one goal on 44 shots. He let one by him in the shoot-out, but his team mates were unable to score. Pickard was named the second star of the game.
